is this a good workout routine?
I have been doing this routine at the gym for about 4 months and i have really seen a dramatic change in my body but i want to know if i could improve it or alter it at all? so give some advice ONLY if your a serious lifter
i divide my muscle groups into days so i work my pulling and extending muscles each day i do 15-20mins of cardio
1st day- chest and back
2nd day- deltoids, shoulders, legs, and abs
3rd day- biceps and triceps
4th day rest
i take nitric oxide and the protein syntha 6
That looks good but why on earth are you taking nitric oxide? Only critiques I would have were to combine shoulders and chest on the same day. Or better yet do this:
Day 1 – Upper Body (Biceps/Triceps/Shoulder/Chest)
Day 2 – Lower Body (Quads/Hamstrings/Calves)
Day 3 – Upper Body again
Day 4 – Lower body again
Day 5 – Rest…
15-20 mins of Cardio days 1-4
I don’t know how intense your workouts are so that is just a pretty standard routine. That’s what we always did for football offseason conditioning. Maybe even dedicate a day to mostly cardio and calisthenics (Pushups/Pullups/Situps)
