So you stop by a fast food restaurant, and after a few minutes of waiting you sense someone is standing behind you, you turn around and see this big bulky dude. Like every guy your first thought will be “damn how did he get so big?” Well I have the answer to that question; what you need to get bulky like him is a weight gain program. A Weight Gain Diet
Diet is the most important thing if you want to gain muscle mass, and if you are seriously considering gaining muscle mass you need to extremely modify your diet in the near future. Here is why diet is the most important thing you only workout about 3 hours a week and you eat about 3 times a day 21 times a week, that’s not including the snacks. The ratio is 7:1 this isn’t complicated math you can see why diet is the key to gaining muscle. So what kind of changes you need to make? Well honestly you know what are the foods you need to cut back on but what’s more important is what you need to eat more of. Protein rich foods should be a major part of your daily intake, protein is the main supply of energy for your muscles fibers to rebuild. So next time if you are going to eat something cold get some yogurt instead of ice-cream.
Technical things like this are usually included in a standard weight gain program. But one thing you should look for is a diet plan laid out that you can easily follow, also try to get a flexible diet program; by that I mean getting a program with a wide variety of food choices because you need to keep your motivation up and having a good healthy meal that you enjoy really boosts your motivation.

Ever see those guys at the gym with a pen and paper? Well those guys are using something called a workout log; it’s like a check list that helps you keep track of your progress. So that is a must because nobody is smart enough to keep track of everything in their mind. It makes the process just so much easier. When you are doing this make sure you plan out and divide out your workout routine. The worst thing you can do is just go to the gym and do random exercises. This is just a waste of time, you need to plan out workouts for each day and concentrate them on specific parts of your body.
Tracking Your Results
As is just mentioned track your results, when you start to see progress you won’t lose your motivation to workout and in a few weeks you can determine if the weight program you are using is right for you. Here are a few things you will need to track your weight gain results…

Akt Family: Antibodies From Imgenex
Akt family of serine/threonine-directed kinases regulates a diverse array of biological processes, including cellular survival, proliferation, glucose homeostasis, and vascular tone and are important molecules in mammalian cellular signaling. The three widely expressed isoforms of PKB (PKB , PKBß and PKB ; also known as Akt1, Akt2 and Akt3, respectively) are each composed of an N-terminal PtdIns(3,4,5)P3- and PtdIns(3,4)P2-binding PH domain and a C-terminal kinase catalytic domain. Stimulation by numerous growth factors, cytokines, hormones and neurotransmitters can activate PKB/Akt in a phosphoinositide 3-kinase-dependent manner. Through receptor tyrosine kinases, these stimuli cause phosphoinositide 3-kinase activation, and generation of the membrane phospholipid PtdIns(3,4,5)P3. PtdIns(3,4,5)P3 then recruits PKB/Akt to the membrane, where it becomes phosphorylated (for PKB?/Akt1) by upstream kinases, phosphoinositide-dependent kinase 1. Following the activation of PI 3-kinase, PKB isoforms are recruited from the cytosol to the plasma membrane through their interaction with PtdIns(3,4,5)P3 and/or PtdIns(3,4)P2 where they are thought to undergo a conformational change and become activated by phosphorylation of two residues. It directly phosphorylate and inhibit the caspase proteasesm, key executioners of apoptosis. PKBbeta, an essential gene for the maintenance of normal glucose homeostasis and is likely to represent a critical intermediate in the insulin signal transduction pathway. PKB activation might inhibit apoptosis by promoting the increased expression of survival molecules or the degradation of pro-apoptotic molecules. PKB also phosphorylates and activates endothelial nitric oxide synthase, thereby promoting angiogenesis (formation of new blood vessels). Inhibition of GSK3 following its phosphorylation by PKB has also been suggested to play a role in inhibiting apoptosis in neuronal cells. Eas Myopro Protein 100 whey?
I just started taking Eas protein and am giving Creatine a go for that wee bit extra for next few months. Please no lectures on using supplements. Anyhow IM using Eas Myopro !oo percent whey, while ive read about Glutomine, I learned that glutomine and creatine use the same system or delivery (carriers) in the body. Although i dont take a Glutomine supplement, my protein shake contains 1550mg per serving, so if im taking my postwork shake with 5grams of creatine des anyone know if they will possibly subdue each other?

High Intensity Interval Training is intense levels of cardio performed for short durations, designed to maximize results for the time you invest. It is a method practiced by firefighters, military personnel, NFL players, NBA players, and anybody who wants a faster, leaner, and stronger body.
The beauty of HIIT is that you work so hard for that short period of time that your body actually spends the rest of the day recovering. Want to burn calories while you’re sitting down watching TV? You can with HIIT. In fact, after a session you’ll burn approximately 9 times more calories at rest than on a day when you did not do interval training.

Benefits of HIIT
The benefits of this type of training are enormous. Not only will you spend less time working out, but you’ll actually be improving your body in ways you never believed possible. Your VO2 max, the maximum amount of oxygen your body can uptake during exercise, will skyrocket. After a few weeks of training, you will notice that your regular cardio sessions, long walks, runs, or just day-to-day activities leave you less winded and more energized. This is a direct result of the quality of this type of training and speaks to the power of interval training.
I mentioned that HIIT also helps you lose weight, but, in reality, it transforms your body into a weight-burning inferno. By working out with these sessions, you are actually modifying your body’s resting metabolic rate (RMR), which measures the amount of calories your body burns at rest. These benefits will last upwards of 24 hours after each session of training.
By conditioning your cardiovascular system, you’re also reducing your long-term risk of heart disease, age-related disability, and other diseases.
HIIT Programming Examples
There are many ways to do HIIT training, here are a few suggestions to get you started.
First, there are two types of interval training: all-out and sub-maximal. In all-out training you want to sprint (or move) at a rate that causes your body to rapidly fatigue. You want to be above your VO2 max, meaning your body is struggling to supply oxygen to your muscles. These movements should be coupled with ample rest between efforts.
The second HIIT method involves doing longer movements in such a way that you approach your body’s max VO2, but do not exceed it. You will still feel tired and need rest, however the effect will not feel as dramatic as with all-out workouts.
All-out workouts will push your body and increase your VO2. The sub-maximal efforts will train your body to perform at a high level over a longer period of time. Both are essential for weight loss, muscle building, and general fitness.
Sample Workouts – All-out
For all-out workouts, you want to perform short sprints, burpees, pushups, whatever at maximum intensity for 15 – 30 seconds. Then you want to rest for at least two minutes, repeating this pattern 6 – 10 times and attempting to always score better in your chosen exercise each round.
For example: 100 meter sprint, 2 min rest, 100 meter sprint, 2 min rest, etc, etc.
Sample Workout – Sub-maximal
Example A: Find a track where you will not be disturbed. Start by going for an easy 5 minute jog. Once you are feeling warm, get yourself mentally prepared. The goal of this exercise is to not stop for 10 – 15 minutes. Begin jogging around one of the bends of the track. When you reach the straightaway, start sprinting. When you reach the bend, resume jogging. Repeat for the entire time.
Example B: Warm up for five minutes. Sprint at approximately 80% of your maximum intensity for 45 to 90 seconds. Follow up with a 1 – 2 minute recovery. Repeat for 5-8 intervals.
HIIT can be done on its own or combined with any workout you are currently doing. I would highly recommend that you do not do HIIT after a weight lifting session because your muscles will already be fatigued. Rather, do interval training first and then, later in the day, do your weight routine. Do not exceed 3 HIIT sessions in a given week. You will expose yourself to unnecessary injury.
Don’t get frustrated. This type of training is very difficult and takes time to get used to. Pace yourself and try to improve every time you go out and work out.
Diet
A fundamentally sound diet is key to HIIT or any other training you are going to be doing. Make sure you are eating well-rounded meals with protein, fruits and vegetables. Consider adding a protein supplement to your diet to accommodate your body’s new workout routine. Your body will need all the help it can get.
